As the official tax partner of the Toronto Raptors, we centred the campaign around then Raptors rookie point guard and local star, Dalano Banton. Since TurboTax was doing his taxes for him, he had loads of time to partake in some of his other interests.

On April 12, as we inched closer to the tax deadline, we dropped 50 TurboTax basketballs with QR codes on 5 well-known courts across the GTA. Those who found a ball could scan the QR code to win free TurboTax or enter to win Raptors prize packs, including a signed Banton basketball.
We created a promo video featuring Banton. And on Ball Drop day, we provided hints to the locations by posting a photo of a branded basketball from each of the 5 courts. See post here.
To engage our target throughout the campaign and encourage more followers, we gave fans a chance to score Raptors prize packs.
