During the spring of 2008, we helped launch Koodo Mobile. You couldn’t look anywhere without seeing bright colours and ridiculous-looking guys and gals dressed head-to-toe in 80s workout garb.
The media buy included plenty of regular ad spaces. But whenever there was a space that was a bit out of the ordinary, we always took full advantage.
I was given the ginormous challenge of bringing this visually-dominated campaign to radio, which turned out to be quite the exercise (pun 100% intended). With all the wacky fat free mobility terms being thrown around, like text-ercising and bill bulge, I thought, why not define these terms? And so A Beginner’s Guide to Fat Free Mobility was born.
