Mercedes

Movember & Prostate Cancer

Movember & Prostate Cancer

We wanted to let Canadians know that Mercedes-Benz is a proud supporter of Movember and prostate cancer research.

*2012 Applied Arts Annual

Here we show how the accelerating, cornering and braking power of a Mercedes-Benz affects one’s moustache. Karl Benz’s moustache would be proud.

In order to show Mercedes-Benz’s continued support of prostate cancer screening and research, we came up with this very appropriate (but very inappropriate) visual. Hey, just be thankful we didn’t go with the dipstick idea. Many thanks to Philip Rostron for shooting this.

Merceds SL-Class

Merceds SL-Class

Mercedes-Benz is traditionally seen as your grandfather’s car. To reach a younger audience, we injected a little more attitude and fiercenessity into the SL-Class and the brand.

“Typical Car Commercial”

For this spot, we decided to poke some fun at other car commercials. Okay…so maybe it’s more of a gouging stab than a poke.

“Surround Sound”

We didn’t just make a traditional cinema spot. We used the surround sound system to emulate the SL circling around the audience. Kudos to the client for letting us show a black screen for 17 seconds.

Autoshow

For the 2012 Autoshow, we created a series of newspaper ads that positioned Mercedes as the show’s greatest attraction. An “autoshow stopper,” if you will.
